This year’s herd health activity in kibwezi was a unique one in that not only did the final year veterinary students carry out herd health activities but they also participated in a tree planting exercise.
Kibwezi herd health exposes our final year students to field experiences and enhances their practical skills in addition to providing a taste of the field. The introduction of the tree planting exercise ensured that they took care of the environment in which their clients depend upon for sustenance of life. This year’s visit undoubtedly enhancedthe University’s social responsibility.
